Imaging analysis: Spectral
Spectra – image analysis provides visualization of huge data sets, incorporating three key methods: spectra, image and feature space. Spectrum of selected pixels in either image or feature space can be shown. Application of volume visualization techniques to display spectral images to visualize combinations of spectral and spatial information is also an asset. Multispectral imaging is mostly used for images with 10-100 wavelength bands. Hyperspectral imaging refers to images with more than 100 bands.
