Mean corpuscular volume (MCV) analysis
This is an automated assay to support translational research studies. Mean corpuscular volume (MCV) is the average size of a red blood cell (RBC) and is calculated from the hematocrit (packed cell volume) and RBC count. The MCV is also used in calculating reticulocyte distribution width (RDW).
Please contact us for site-specific details in regards to research model capabilities. It is included as part of the standard panel for analysis.
